Today STAR Plus announces the extension of Aap Ki Kachehri Kiran Ke Saath by another 52 episodes on popular demand. Proving all the industry cynics wrong, the show is among the five top-rated Hindi general entertainment programmes, according to the latest data released by TAM Media Research.
Launched on December 1, 2008, Aap Ki Kachehri is the biggest weekday prime time launch of 2008. It has a 43% audience share in the Hindi GEC markets of the North and has delivered a whopping 7.5 TVR average in Delhi. The show has created ripples with markets like Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Rajasthan delivering phenomenally well. STAR Plus commands a lion’s share of television viewing during Aap Ki Kachehri - It is the leader in the slot with a 37% channel share, twice that of its closest competitor in the same slot.
