Saif’s newest gift to Kareena, a scarlet love bite!

The forever in news couple Saifeena has hit the headlines yet again. The much in love duo has never bothered to confine their affection for each other inside the four walls and this time round it is their very love which is making heads turn.

Kareena recently made people drop their jaws when she made a stunning entry at a recent product launch. Dressed in a white backless gown, Bebo made sure that she left people playing Chinese whisper, as it wasn’t her sexy gown that made them mouth things - it was a scarlet coloured love bite that did the honours. Yeah, Kareena walked into the venue with an élan and created frenzy by revealing this supposed little symbol of love from beau Saif Ali Khan (who else!).

Guess Bebo was too preoccupied in thinking about the event leaving her with very little time at hand to ponder about how a different silhouette (a silhouette gone wrong in this case) could give away all that she would’ve wanted to hide.

Thinking of giving a benefit of doubt to Kareena? Hmmm… okay! Still, what is seen has to be written about, don’t know if she was bitten by a certain something or rather a certain someone!

Katrina to do a special song for her ‘King’ Akshay

The sensuous Katrina Kaif is all set to shake the silver screen yet again with her ‘King’ and favourite co-star Akshay Kumar for the megastarrer ‘Blue’. Kat will be seen grooving with Akki for a special number that is being touted as a winner by the industry insiders already.

According to reports, Katrina has agreed to shoot for a special number for the Akshay starrer only because he was part of the project. It is believed that the song will be shot on a whopping Rs 6 crore budget.

Sources close to Katrina suggest that Katrina did not have enough dates to accommodate another film, but since Akki considers Katrina to be her lucky mascot, the actress agreed instantly when offered the special appearance.

Katrina has apparently started rehearsing for the song already and will have to do double shifts to complete it, but then that’s the least she can do for Akki, considering the fact that he would surely need some luck after the dismal performance of ‘CC2C’ at the BO.

Only actress to have made it to Top 10 list

Kareena Kapoor is the only actress to make it to the list of Top 10 Youth Icons in a survey conducted by an Indian newspaper, among people between the ages of 18 and 25, across 10 major cities.

The list includes Shah Rukh Khan, M.S. Dhoni, Aamir Khan, Rahul Gandhi among others. NSG commandos secured the number one position in the survey.

This year Kareena has four films scheduled for release: “Kambakkth Ishq”, “Main Aur Mrs Khanna”, Karan Johar's untitled film and “3 Idiots”.

Kareena will also be seen in a special appearance in Shah Rukh Kan's forthcoming film “Billu Barber”. Her song 'Mar jani, mar jani” is already on air and not many know that she said yes to do the song just a day before it was shot.

Kareena’s surprise bash

Kareena Kapoor loves throwing a bash for her near and dear ones. And that doesn’t mean just close friends.

We hear, she threw a big bash for her family doctor on his birthday. Says a source close to Kareena, “She went out of her way and threw him a nice party.

Tusshar Kapoor, Shabina Khan, Babita, Karisma and many others were present.” Well it’s good to have a friend like Kareena.

The small screen is getting bigger by the day, with the appearance of film stars on TV almost becoming a thumb of rule. The newest addition to the long-running list is Preity Zinta. The actor is all set to appear in a reality show.

Preity, with her massive popularity, was approached by several GECs (General Entertainment Channel) for her first stint on the small screen. However, things did not work out several times over for different reasons — either she was too tied up with her film assignments or she was not happy with the concept of the show and the money offered to her. Last year too she could have made her TV debut. But instead she went on to get involved with her Indian Premiere League (IPL) team, Kings XI Punjab.

Says a well placed source, “When the channel approached her, she made it very clear that she wants the show to be a little different compared to the shows currently running on the tube. Colors, who have been doing really well with film stars like Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty and Sushmita Sen, conveyed that it was indeed different.”

The source adds, “The reality show will be a talent hunt show. All the contestants will be performing with their respective talents, be it dancing, singing, stand up, comedy acts or anything else. The money offered to her is also quite hefty looking at the recession-hit market. Preity is quite excited about the concept and is all geared up for her TV debut.”

As the actress is busy with her film assignments, shooting for the show is yet to start. The show will be making its appearance on screen after March this year. We sent a text message to Preity, but she was not available for comment.
