Rani forced to move out

Mumbai—With her career at a standstill and her personal life going nowhere, Rani Mukherji has now done what most Bollywood stars do when they are down and out.... consult an astrologer! People close to Rani has told her the reason for the slump in her personal and professional life could be her new house, because ever since she bought it things have been going wrong for her.

While initially Rani didn’t pay much heed to the advice, she was eventually forced to consult her astrologer. After all, her good friend Govinda doesn’t make a single move without his astrologer’s instructions.

A close friend of Rani reveals; “Rani’s films have been flopping ever since she bought her new bungalow. Her relationship with director Aditya Chopra has also suffered a lot because all the films have been produced by YashRaj Films.” Rani’s last box-office hit was Karan Johar’s Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna in 2006 following which she gave duds one after the other namely Ta Ra Rum Pum, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic.

However, what has upset Rani right now is the canned status of Adiappa, her forthcoming YashRaj Film opposite Shahid Kapoor, directed by debutant Anurag Singh. If sources are to be believed, the person responsible for this is Rani herself. Apparently Rani, who is desperate for a hit, had no faith in Anurag and therefore took over the reigns of the film. Says an insider, “Rani behaved as if she was the boss of YashRaj Films and on many occasions over-ruled Anurag’s decisions and directed the scenes herself. Knowing her proximity to Aditya, Anurag did not argue but slowly lost interest in the project. Now we hear that Yash and Aditya Chopra are unhappy after watching the first print of the film, and have asked Anurag to re-shoot major scenes from the film under the guidance of Aditya.”

This film was Rani’s last hope because she doesn’t have any other projects in hand and going by her box office status it is doubtful if even YashRaj will cast her again. Her affair with Aditya, which resulted in his divorce, has landed the actress in the bad books of Yash Chopra, who has now taken over the mantle at YashRaj Films once again. Rani is actually thinking of moving out of her newly-decorated bungalow, as per her astrologer’s advice. She is now looking for a flat for herself in Versova. Therefore, Rani is left with no other choice but to move into a new apartment.

Mumbai : Looks like Rani Mukerji is losing her fizz after all. For the actress, who has been out of scene since long has now been dropped out of yet another ad campaign. After getting replaced in the ‘Titan Raga’ campaign, the Bong bombshell has been thrown out of the ‘Fanta’ advertisement too.

It seems Mukerji's decreasing visibility in the public eye has started taking a toll on her endorsements. If that wasn’t all, the more unnerving news is the fact that she has been replaced by the much younger Genelia D'souza.

According to reports, there are several reasons for the replacement. It is believed that Rani’s frivolous ways and the manner in which she’s been handling her career are the major causes. Rani has almost stopped doing films for anyone other than Aditya Chopra, her past films have not done to well at the Box Office and to top it all she’s keeping away from the media for unknown reasons.

It can be said that the one time numero uno is fading in the public memory. On the other hand, Genelia D'souza, who garnered accolades for the BO hit ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’, is being touted to have a good connect with the young crowd.

Rani’s bungalow unlucky for her?

Mumbai: Rani Mukherji Rani Mukerji's career is in doldrums. In recent times, she has delivered many flops. She now believes that her bungalow in Juhu is jinxed. Her astrologer has suggested her that she shift out of the house for the time being. Rani is now looking to buy a flat for herself in Versova, Andheri and will be shifting there soon.

Our source says, "Rani Mukerji shifted to her bungalow early last year. However, her career has seen a downslide ever since she bought it. All her films have failed and her astrologer has suggested that the new bungalow might not be working for her. The astrologer also reasoned that ever since she invested in the bungalow, her films have flopped - from Babul to Laaga Chunri Mein Daag to Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic.

“The only film Rani has on hand, the YRF film about cricket is also in the news more for its problems than for anything creative. Moreover she has lost out on many projects outside Yash Raj Films and no one has offered her substantial films recently. That's the reason Rani is looking out for a flat in Versova. Rani wanted to shift into her old house in Versova but that has already been rented out. This leaves Rani with no choice but to look for another house for herself."

Rani Mukerji seeks solace in writing

Of late Rani Mukerji hasn’t been a happy lady. She was the Rani of Bollywood till not very long ago, but things have changed now.

But just like how Salman Khan has a thing for painting, Rani has discovered her hidden talent and is looking at contentment.

The actress made a very big mistake by limiting herself with the Yashraj banner. Even her liason with Adi is not helping her in away way.

In doing so, she obstructed her own growth.

Age too is catching up on her and unlike Ash her age reflects on her face.

The heroes with whom she was used to being paired with frequently have moved on to younger girls. Shah Rukh Khan prefers Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma, Salman has Katrina and Aamir has girls like Asin and Jiah. Abhishek would rather work with wifey Ash and girls she tells him to act with than Rani.

So practically Rani has no one to work with. So she’s taking up writing to give her career a lease of life.

Now the actress is basically left with no choice. She has expressed her desire to turn a writer- script writer and is planning to come out with her own script.

It’s all desperation to hang on.

She even started giving suggestions and writing tips to debutant director Anurag Singh, for the film that has Shahid Kapur opposite her.

At this rate, Rani may have a script all written and ready soon! So get ready for a B-Town script, Rani style!

When Aamir Khan came to Rani’s rescue

After being criticized for her out of shape self, Rani has finally managed to achieve a leaner frame and all this with the help of good ole friend Aamir.

Just when Rani Mukherjee was struggling badly to lose weight, good friend Aamir came to her rescue. Rani has always been struggling to look slim, from strict diets to regular working out regimes; Rani has tried all she could to fight flab but all her attempts failed. And that’s when Aamir suggested his personal trainer Stayajit Chaurasia’s name to Rani.

Satyajit Chaurasia played a major part in helping Aamir achieve the eight-pack abs look for Ghajini. Being impressed by his work Aamir suggested Rani to hire Satya as her personal trainer. And as they say, hard work pays, after working out an hour every day for two months, Rani has been able to lose oodles of weight and look the way she has always wished for.

The all new Rani did a cameo in Aditya Chopra’s Rab Ne…in a song with Shah Rukh Khan. Her new slim look had the audience in awe and reminded one of her Ghulam and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai days. The bong babe will next be seen playing cricket in Yash Raj’s forthcoming untitled film and we are sure her new found kick-ass figure will play Thoda Magic once again on her fans.

What the heck is wrong with Rani?

Rani Mukherjee could very well be considered the only actress in B-Town who threw it all away when she was right there at the top.

She was a fine actress with great screen presence. Then what went wrong? The biggest mistake this hazel eyed beauty made was that she confined herself to her favourite Yash Raj camp.

Now she's in the desperate need of a comeback film and she's doing everything for it. In her new film 'Haddipa' with the younger Shahid Kapur, she plays a cricket lover who dresses up as a man to get into a team

She's been sporting a beard throughout the film.

Reportedly this is the only film she has and will be her only release in 2009. No wonder the once upon of a time 'Rani' of our hearts is scared.

The buzz is that Rani is not glad with the first rushes of the film and has asked her dear Adi to look into it and help the director of the film, Anurag Singh.

In fact her behaviour has been high-handed too.

Rumour has it that she's even been calling the shots and even teaching senior actors how to act.

She already has made enemies out of friends in the past. Wonder what Shahid who considered her one of the best actresses in the industry has been thinking of late!
