Little Star Tanay paving the path!

Tanay who had become a recognizable face with his role of a physically handicapped friend in ‘Taare Zameen Par’ has proved that where there is talent, the opportunities are endless by following it up with a mature performance as the middle Jamal in Danny Boyle’s ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, a film being touted as the Oscar favorite! In fact the actor has wowed not just the audience who feel that portions of the film where he has enacted are some of the best in the film; but also has critics impressed having won the 15th Annual Screen Actor’s Guild Awards!

And now this young performer will soon be seen Nikhil Panchammiya’s ‘Mastang Mama’, produced under his banner, Fourth Wall Productions, which will see him playing the lead alongside Ruslaan Mumtaz who plays his uncle. And those who have seen rushes of the film cant stop raving about the natural performance played by the young nephew!

Says the producer, “Tanay is a very talented child. Im very happy with the success he is currently enjoying. He has immense potential which is there for everyone to see. In ‘Mastang Mama’ the audience will get to see yet a different side to him.”

Well after being a part of 2 award winning film, will ‘Mastang Mama’ go on to make a hat trick of award winning films for this young star?

Hrithik and Suzanne are both learning Spanish now

Hrithik Roshan’s Spanish fever has rubbed on to his wife Suzanne as well it seems. As now the couple is jointly learning Spanish.

According to our sources, “Hrithik had been learning Spanish because in Kites he had to speak some basic lines. But after having spoken with Barbara Mori off sets too, he decided to take it further. And it was thanks to his interest that his wife Suzanne got keen on learning it as well. Now both of them are taking Spanish lessons together. In fact they have got themselves a teacher who comes home and teaches them and the couple tries their Spanish out with Barbara who has now become a really close friend of them.”

Hrithik Roshan’s Kites is one of the most awaited films of 2009. It is slated for release around Diwali later this year. Just last Tuesday, Hrithik suffered an injury while filming. During the shot, a piece of glass pierced his wrist and he was immediately rushed to the newly opened Ambani Hospital in Lokhandwala and was later discharged.

Tamanna’s new Hair Style Spotted

Rakhi Sawant in Tamil - Muthirai

The Bollywood Item number queen Rakhi Sawant is all set to rock Tamil again. She has done an item number in Muthirai. Muthirai has Nithin Sathya, Daniel Balaji ,Lakshmi Rai and newcomer Manjari Phadnis in the lead roles.

Aneez, late cameraman Jeeva wife is producing the film and directed by Srinath. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music.

She also did a cameo in ‘Mumbai Express‘ starring Padmashree Kamal Hassan.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Bags French Honor

It seems that the awards are raining on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. After getting Padma Shree the green eyed Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has yet another award in her awards kitty. Aishwarya has recently been conferred by the French authorities to receive the prestigious French award, ‘Officer Dan Ordre Des Arts Et Des Lettres’ but unfortunately the actress has been unable to enjoy the awards due to her father’s (Krishna Raj Rai) bad health.

Recently Aishwarya had declared that she will not be receiving the award until her father gets in good health. The second highest civilian award is a big thing but Ash says that ‘it will be a glorious moment but not without my father’ and now since her father is well she has informed the French government to prepare for the ceremony.
Before Ash, the only person in Bollywood to receive this award is Shahrukh Khan and now it’s the lady’s turn to enjoy it.

The war between SRK and Akki

Apparently Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan shared some serious cold vibes at Preity Zinta’s birthday bash.

The undercurrent of rivalry between the two stars was apparent when Shah Rukh arrived at the party. According to our source, Akshay wanted to leave before Shah Rukh could arrive. “The minute Shah Rukh stepped in, Akshay chose to leave. The few minutes that the two were together, they avoided each other. They greeted one another very reluctantly but after that no words were exchanged between the two. Since there were only a few guests present at the party at the time, the awkwardness was very obvious.”

We messaged both Shah Rukh and Akshay asking them if they had consciously avoided each other at the party, but the two did not revert.
