Vijay Fans Network (VFN) web site shuts down with Huge Disappointment

Vijay’s Fans (Vijay Fans Network -VFN ) who were running actor official fan website (vijaynet.com) have decided to close the site as they not been supported at all.

Dear Fans,

We have to mention this with huge disappointment that we are closing down Vijay Fans Network (VFN). We are extremely disappointed at taking this step but we are forced to do it because we have not been getting the required material support (official and exclusive news, exclusive stills, etc) from the officials of Vijay’s office. We started off a site that would run based on the support that it got from them, which we have almost stopped receiving off late. We are also very much hurt at the ways by which people try to take credit for whatever work that we have done for this site. We as a network of students have built this fans network without any financial support from everyone (and we are willing to continue without any financial support) but we are not willing in any way to give a part of the credit that we deserve for our work. There are some people out there who do not want Vijay to progress forward and we feel that we are not fit enough to fight out a battle with them. We tried to salvage this site as much as possible but it has now gone beyond our control that we want to give it up once and for all. We have our own lives to take care of and we are now planning to move ahead with our lives. We will still remain diehard fans of Vijay but we will only continue watching and enjoying his films.
We would like to thank all the fans who have supported us throughout the time that we were running this site. We will still cherish those moments when our site was its peak. We wish Vijay all the very best on his future.

Priyanka Chopra Underwent Plastic Surgery?

Does the beauty queen really not realize how beautiful she is? Well rumors are flying that the uber chic and super hot Priyanka Chopra has gone under the knife and had done a lip and a nose job! Is the gorgeous former Miss World not as naturally beautiful as we think?

Well recently a channel aired a story featuring a doctor who claimed to perform plastic surgery on the actress. The physician spoke about what actually went down when Priyanka Chopra allegedly came into his office and went under the knife. You would think that was evidence enough but Priyanka Chopra still denies going through the procedure and says she will be taking legal action against the physician. She was furious when the doctor revealed details about her surgery. Was she furious because she didn't want her secret out or was she furious because the physician's claims were all lies?

Now the actress has come forward and said that there is nothing wrong in plastic surgery. So why the crazy reaction to her doctors claims? If there's nothing wrong with plastic surgery who cares if her doctor said she had gotten it done. Deepika launches MTV Force India tie up

Mumbai: Bollywood's sizzling actress Deepika Padukone has launched a new reality show MTV Force India-The Fast and the Gorgeous in Mumbai.

“I think it's a wonderful concept, the girls not only get to be the face of Formula 1 but they get to travel the world as well,” Deepika Padukone, who is also a brand ambassador of Kingfisher Airlines, said.

Speaking on the occasion, the Bollywood actress said that girls have a big opportunity here and they have to face big task ahead.

“ Girls have to take care of their beauty and at the same time they have to become more sporty,” Deepika said.

UB Group Chairman Vijay Malllya was also present during the announcement of partnership of Force India Formula One Team with MTV for MTV Force India-The Fast and the Gorgeous.

A total four girls have been selected during this talent hunt programme.

Ten injured during 'Veer' shooting

Jaipur: Ten people were critically injured during the shooting of Salman Khan next venture 'Veer'.

According to the sources, the incident took place during the shoot of a war scene, when the artificial wall collapsed.

All the injured people were taken to the nearby hospital for treatment.

After the incident the shooting was stopped by the producer.

‘Billu', ‘Stoneman', ‘Jugaad' hit theaters today

Mumbai: Definitely it's a treat for Cinegoers as three movies SRK's ‘Billu', ‘The Stoneman Murders' and ‘Jugaad will hit silver screens across the nation today.

Even the buzz around Shah Rukh Khan's home production film ‘Billu' is a remake of South movie, Shah Rukh's fans will get to watch the much awaited and much hyped flick today.

A directional venture of Priyadarshan, ‘Billu' is a story of two ordinary friends. This Irfan Khan starrer movie is expected to offer something more to the audiences than just a story of an ordinary man.

On the other hand, ‘Jugaad' is a non-starter and it would be an achievement if it manages to get decent timings. ‘The Stoneman Returns' boasts of an interesting premise but has not been promoted enough.”

But the experts feel that if Shah Rukh has a sizeable role in “Billu”, collections may pick up at the box office.

Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, “Billu” has been directed by Priyadarshan and stars Irrfan Khan and Lara Dutta in the lead apart from Shah Rukh, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in three item numbers.

‘The Stoneman Murders', written and directed by Manish Gupta, stars Kay Kay Menon, Arbaaz Khan and Rukhsaar. ‘Jugaad' has been directed by Anand Kumar and produced by Sandiip Kapur. It stars Manoj Bajpai, Hrishita Bhatt and Vijay Raaz.

Shahid, Kareena to reunite for ‘Milenge Milenge'

Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor are all set to reunite. But not in real life. We are talking about their last movie together ‘Milenge Milenge'.

Shooting for the Sathish Kaushik directed romantic comedy has been disrupted for over two years due to their breakup post Jab We Met.

Kareena had initially refused to shoot for the movie as she did not want to work with Shahid but now has changed her mind.

Kareena and Shahid have begun the dubbing for their film ‘Milenge Milenge'.

Shahid has already completed his part and now Bebo is about to dub for her part. This means that Shahid-Kareena fans will get to see the Jab We Met pair soon on screen.

Let's hope this Kareena-Shahid factor works in favour of the film.

As Kareena has given her green signal, the movie is expected to hit the theatres by the end of this year.

Shah Rukh Khan's residence attacked

Mumbai (PTI): Two unidentified persons on Friday allegedly threw kerosene-filled bottles at actor Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow 'Mannat' in suburban Bandra, police said.

"Around 0230 hours, motorcycle-borne miscreants threw the bottles filled with kerosene and fled from the scene. The security men at the 'Mannat' had chased the miscreants but in vain," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Niket kaushik said.

When the incident occured, Khan was not in the house and nobody has sustained any injuries, he said adding that a complaint has been registered and further investigation is on in the matter.

Recently, Khan had supported Valentine Day celebrations.

Shah Rukh Khan promoter put in Jail

Vijay Taneja, promoter of Shahrukh Khan Bollywood shows in the past in U.S. has been sentenced to imprisonment for 7 years in a $ 33 million fraud case.

The man was found guilty by a Virginia Court for running up immigrant banking fraud schemes and using the money to finance films and select Bollywood concerts. Atleast 4 US Banks were found to have been pursuing Taneja.

In his order, the U.S. District Judge Claude M Hilton also ordered Taneja to pay $33 million in compensation to these four financial institutions. Besides seven years of imprisonment, he would be subject to three years of supervised release.

His claim to fame which got him celebrity status among the NRIs was his mega shows, through which he had financial agreements set up with several Bollywood stars.

Rani forced to move out

Mumbai—With her career at a standstill and her personal life going nowhere, Rani Mukherji has now done what most Bollywood stars do when they are down and out.... consult an astrologer! People close to Rani has told her the reason for the slump in her personal and professional life could be her new house, because ever since she bought it things have been going wrong for her.

While initially Rani didn’t pay much heed to the advice, she was eventually forced to consult her astrologer. After all, her good friend Govinda doesn’t make a single move without his astrologer’s instructions.

A close friend of Rani reveals; “Rani’s films have been flopping ever since she bought her new bungalow. Her relationship with director Aditya Chopra has also suffered a lot because all the films have been produced by YashRaj Films.” Rani’s last box-office hit was Karan Johar’s Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna in 2006 following which she gave duds one after the other namely Ta Ra Rum Pum, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic.

However, what has upset Rani right now is the canned status of Adiappa, her forthcoming YashRaj Film opposite Shahid Kapoor, directed by debutant Anurag Singh. If sources are to be believed, the person responsible for this is Rani herself. Apparently Rani, who is desperate for a hit, had no faith in Anurag and therefore took over the reigns of the film. Says an insider, “Rani behaved as if she was the boss of YashRaj Films and on many occasions over-ruled Anurag’s decisions and directed the scenes herself. Knowing her proximity to Aditya, Anurag did not argue but slowly lost interest in the project. Now we hear that Yash and Aditya Chopra are unhappy after watching the first print of the film, and have asked Anurag to re-shoot major scenes from the film under the guidance of Aditya.”

This film was Rani’s last hope because she doesn’t have any other projects in hand and going by her box office status it is doubtful if even YashRaj will cast her again. Her affair with Aditya, which resulted in his divorce, has landed the actress in the bad books of Yash Chopra, who has now taken over the mantle at YashRaj Films once again. Rani is actually thinking of moving out of her newly-decorated bungalow, as per her astrologer’s advice. She is now looking for a flat for herself in Versova. Therefore, Rani is left with no other choice but to move into a new apartment.

Govinda refuses to dance before the Queen

Govinda's whims never cease to amaze us. Recently, while shooting for a song and dance sequence in London for Tigmanshu Dhulia's Con Flick, he created yet another furore.

A unit source revealed, Con Flick's very first day of shooting was in front of the Buckingham Palace. The entire unit had assembled there, waiting for Govinda. But just when he arrived and took a look around, he declared he would not shoot at that location!"

And this is what Govinda had to say "I am a Member of Parliament from the ruling party of our country and it would not be right for me to dance in front of England's Queen."

When Dhulia tried to convince Govinda that the Queen may perhaps not be in there, he argued back, asking, what if she peeped out from a window?

Dhulia didn't know whether to laugh or howl at Govinda's reply! But then since Govinda was in no mood to comply, Dhulia was left with no option but to shift the shoot elsewhere.

Last time while shooting in London Govinda had left the shoot midway over some argument. There were also portions of the Queen's lookalike that Govinda insisted on being deleted from the film.

Con Flick stars Celina Jaitley and Rimi Sen opposite Govinda who plays a smooth talking conman in the film.
