Rumour has it that superstar Kajol Devgan is charging a jaw-dropping 2.5 crores for her role in My Name Is Khan opposite Shah Rukh Khan. This puts her in the same class as Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. "Even though Kajol and Karan Johar, the director, are friends, they have a very professional approach towards work," says a source, "Karan was willing to pay Kajol her full market price."

It's also being said that Kajol will do a cameo role in Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots. The two worked together on Fana'a. Kajol also has two other productions lined up - the first being a live action animation with husband Ajay Devgan called Toonpur Ka Superhero. The second is the intriguing Koochie Koochie Hota Hai - an animated version of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. It will also have the voice of Shah Rukh Khan.

Kajol and SRK will be filming in Mumbai from March to May for My Name is Khan and then they return to LA in June for the final slice of filming. The film is scheduled for release later in the year and may well be in competition with Aamir's 3 Idiots.

Karan Johar shot with his first heroine — Kajol — after a gap of eight years in Los Angeles, earlier this week for his film My Name is Khan. Shah Rukh Khan, who is the lead of the film is also working with the actress after eight years.
On directing Kajol, Karan says, "It is a surreal feeling. As soon as she came in front of the camera, it felt so natural and normal. I didn't feel even once that I hadn't directed her for so long. She is still the same. Elegant on the screen, and an effortless performer. I am glad she is a part of this film. Shah Rukh's and her pairing and chemistry is immaculate. I want to give the audiences something very different this time around with My Name is Khan."

Kajol may be concentrating on playing mom at home to daughter Nyasa more than a Bollywood career now, but she’s still considered hot property.

Her charismatic and unconventionally beautiful looks are featured on the cover of a magazine and the response is very good.

Kajol appears on the cover of the January issue of M- a lifestyle and luxury magazine for men. Priyanka Chopra and Tabu have been featured earlier.

One of the closest sources revealed, “Commonly, independent and successful actresses with best attitudes are featured on the magazine cover. Nevertheless, everyone got fascinated with Kajol’s entrancing looks”.

Her interview and other pictures too has been used in the January issue.

Kajol reportedly enjoyed sporting different looks of both classic and contemporary. She thinks Jatin Kampani helped her to sport the attractive look.

Pranav Capila, executive editor of M has said, ‘Featuring Kajol on M’s edition has been our all-time wish and we’re so gleeful that Kajol accepted our offer.’

Kajol puts an end to her binging to look sexy

Kajol is on a weight losing spree, Reason? Her latest project with Karan Johar! The lady who will be starring in My Name Is Khan is doing all things possible to fit the bill and some super sexy dresses.

"She couldn't say no as she plays an NRI woman in the film and as per the look of her character she has to look thin. Hence she had to forego her binging habit and start with a special diet. She is currently in Los Angeles shooting for the film with her two good friends, Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan, " says a unit hand.

Her instructor is taking care that Kajol includes lots of nuts, especially almonds in her diet. Apart from keeping a tab on the calorie intake, Kajol is sweating it out at the gym too to cut that extra flab.

Interestingly, SRK had stopped working out as his six pack abs look was not required in Aditya Chopra's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

As far as his look in My Name Is Khan is concerned, he plays an NRI Muslim man here and is required to look lean. We hope that the all new lean looking Kajol and Khan create the same on screen magic like their previous films.
