Bollywood bomb shell Sherlyn Chopra made Christmas a special occasion for under-privileged kids of an NGO by celebrating X’mas with them.

She was dressed up in the Santa Claus designer costume and was seen singing “Jingle Bells” for the children, distributing gifts and cracking jokes with them.

Twinkle Khanna (born Tina Jatin Khanna on December 29, 1974 in Pune, India ) is an interior designer and co-owner of The White Window store, more popularly known as an ex-Indian film actress from the 1990s. She is the oldest child of film stars Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, sister of Rinke Khanna, wife of Bollywood Actor Akshay Kumar, and mother of Aarav Bhatia. She was born on her father's 32nd birthday.

She made her debut opposite Bobby Deol in Barsaat (1995). The film did well at the box office, and she received the Filmfare Best Debut Award for her performance. After an eye surgery for a slight crosseye condition, Khanna went on to do many films which got her good reviews and recognition from the audience. She has acted with some of the best stars in the industry, including Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Govinda.

Her notable film roles include the girl next door in Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai with Salman Khan (1998), the undercover spy along with Shahrukh Khan in Baadshah (1999) and the village belle in Mela (2000).

She left the industry after her marriage to Akshay Kumar, citing that she did not enjoy the acting profession anymore. She has moved on. Her last film was Love Ke Liye Kuchh Bhi Karega (2001), which was received averagely at the box office.

In 2002, Khanna opened her own interior design store in Crawford Market, Mumbai called The White Window, in partnership with her long time friend Gurlein Manchanda. Since then, the store has received a prestigious Elle Decor International Design Award (from Indian edition of Elle Decor magazine). Twinkle has opened up another branch of the flagship store elsewhere in Mumbai and plans to expand throughout India.

Khanna recently did the interiors for Rani Mukerji's new house.

Payal Rohatgi is all smiles these days as her career is back on track. She recently shot to fame with her appearance in the TV reality show, “Bigg Boss 2”, followed by the release of the film “Dil Kabaddi”.

But that's not all. What's really making her blush is the fact that she's being appreciated for her performance in the film by her co-stars. And, the most memorable compliment was by actor Irrfan Khan.

"After watching the film Irrfan sir came up to me and said that I performed brilliantly in it. And getting a compliment from a seasoned actor like him is something I am not going to forget soon," says Payal.

Amrita Rao ousts Priyanka Chopra from Harman’s life?

Mumbai, Dec 27: After the news of Priyanka Chopra-Shahid Kapur’s intriguing intimacy on the sets of their forthcoming film ‘Kaminey’, another bit of gossip has been picked up by our reliable sources.

Buzz has it that Amrita Rao has turned the‘Harman-Priyanka-Shahid’ triangular love story to a rectangular one by adding another romantic angle. While girlfriend Priyanka was busy romancing Shahid, the Baweja scion took a fancy to delicate darling Amrita Rao during the shoot of ‘Victory’.

Amrita and Harman were shooting for their upcoming film, ‘Victory’ and clicked together pretty well. According to a source, “Harman and Amrita hit it off from the beginning. They would talk to each other all the time and they even started meeting after the shoots. Harman took her out for dinner at the famous Handi restaurant in Jaipur. They also started doing workouts together.”

Grapevine has it that even after finishing the shoot, the two have kept in constant touch. “One day, Harman suddenly decided to send a bouquet of yellow flowers to Amrita. Then, another day Amrita visited Harman on the sets of his film, Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘What’s Your Rashee’. After the shoot, they travelled back together in Amrita’s car,” a source said.

Ghajini turns out to be a Box Office Monster

Its been a year since Aamir Khan has been promoting his film in every single platform in the universe, and boy has it paid off - Ghajini has turned out to be an early cash Godzilla at the box office.

Ghajini smashed and thrashed rivals the likes of 'Rab ne bana di Jodi' and continued to create unimaginable history at the advance booking ticket counters. The advance booking of the film is a milestone in the multiplex era, infact words cannot describe what is happening at theaters across the country. Some of the highlights are as follows.

Delite Cinema in Delhi has shows housefull until Monday night. Tickets sold worth 7 lakhs.

Sarb Multiplex in Jalandhar with a seating capacity of 375 has sold tickets 222/131/273/108 for its 4 shows on Thursday.

Fun Multiplex in Chandigarh is Housefull for Wednesday, 922 tickets sold for Thursday, 528 tickets sold for Friday and 498 tickets sold for Saturday.

PVR Multiplex in Chandigarh is Housefull for Wednesday and 504 tickets sold for Thursday.

The advance booking in terms of money generated is 2.5 times more than any other film.

What we see here is a milestone in the hindi film industry as far as opening goes. While the horrendous Gadar was a milestone in terms of all India business and DDLJ is a milestone in terms of its historic long run, the opening weekend of Ghajini may well be 35-40 crore net while the week could end up with 55-60 crore net if the film sustains.

Kambakkht Ishq

Rambo star Sylvester Stallone and Kareena Kapoor are doing a film together titled Kambakkht Ishq. The film stars Akshay Kumar in the lead , which is directed by Sabir Khan.

Film revolves around the tale of a stuntman struggling to make it big in Hollywood. Kareena plays Akshay’s love interest.

Salman to spend birthday at his farmhouse

It was rumored that Salman would be flying out of the country for his birthday and New Year celebrations but that is not the case. Salman is currently shooting for Veer at Film City but he will take a day off tomorrow.

A source close to Salman tells us, “Salman will have a party at his farmhouse in Panvel with his close family and friends on his birthday.”

He further adds, “We all know that Salman is a family man and he loves to party. Biryani and kebabs are definitely on the menu. Salman will play host to all their friends from the industry.”

It has almost become a ritual for the superstar to head to his Panvel farmhouse for his birthday. The actor heads there every year on Christmas Eve and stays there till a day after his birthday.

The guest list for Salman’s party tomorrow night is said to include dad Salim Khan, mom Salma, step mom Helen, sisters Alvira and Arpita, brother Sohail, Arbaaz and their families. His staff members will also be there as Salman values them a lot. David Dhawan, Aamir Khan, Subhash Ghai, Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgan are also expected.

However, this year girlfriend Katrina Kaif will be missing from the do. She is currently holidaying with her family in London and is expected back only in January.

Salman is really fond of his farmhouse in Panvel. He often cycles there from Mumbai with his bodyguards following him in cars
