Kamya recently attended an award function and expressed her disregard when the award titled ‘Best Personality Award’ was given to a young actor who is hardly a few months old into the television industry.
“I was really in a bad mood when in a recent television award the ‘Best Personality Award’ was given to some young newcomer types chap. I say, why the award people did such a thing. Our industry has renowned people like Sarita Joshi, Alok Nath, Aruna Ali, Sharad Malthotra, Kamya Punjabi etc. The Industry has such great people then why to give such a prestigious award to a guy who has just spent a few months in this industry. We are ‘old’ here are certainly we are ‘gold’. I am really not satisfied with their judgment”, says unsatisfied cum irritated Kamya.
