Mumbai: Vaishali Bhaisane-Made won the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009, a reality singing contest.

This was the first public event that took place at the Gateway of India after the terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

The winners were selected through viewers` poll. Actor Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone gave away the trophy to the winner, first and second runner ups.

The second and third place went to Yashita Yashpal Sharma and Somen Nandi.

Made, who hails from Amravati in Vidarbha, Mahrashtra, has won a Rs 50-lakh music contract with Zee TV, a Hyundai i10 car and LCD TV.

She was a winner of the last season of Marathi Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Minissha slams surgery rumours

Serene beauty Katrina Kaif is not going to celebrate Valentine's day with beau Salman Khan but with handsome Ranbir Kapoor. Don't misunderstood Kat, she is not in any sort of love relationship with Ranbir but the duo happens to be together on that particular day in connection to their shooting for the film Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani in Turkey.

Amrita Arora going to do marriage with Shakeel Ladak

The buzz is that Bollywood gorgeous actress Amrita Arora has finally decided to get married with her new boyfriend Shakeel Ladak on March 6, 2009.

A source reveals, “The wedding date is March 6 and it will be a grand marriage. The mehendi ceremony will be on 4th march and the sangeet ceremony on March 5. Amrita Arora wanted that her marriage should be in a church, therefore marriage will be in a church on 6th March. However church is yet to be decided.”

He further added, “Amrita is preparing the list of marriage guests but her favorite star Shahrukh Khan will not attend the wedding function as he does not see Salman Khan eye to eye.”

Amrita’s elder sister Malaika Arora is extremely busy in marriage preparations and she has selected her suit for wedding. Amrita Arora has not finalized her suit and it is learnt that she has many friends who are designers but she is uncertain about whom she should give her consent to design marriage gown.

Bipasha bags Kareena's role

Sources also tell us that Kareena Kapoor was the initial choice for the role, but Bips was chosen instead. This will be Bipasha's first international project.
