Hurman Priyanka Back Togethere as Couple

All those who were glad that Priyanka Chopra was single again after her break-up with Hurman Baweja, there's news for you. Priyanka and Hurman are trying to get back together. Their dead relationship got a chance to renew itself earlier this month while the two were shooting together in the snowy landscapes of Chicago. Reveals a source, "It seems Priyanka realised how important Hurman is to her life. They were together constantly in Chicago."

But in such a scenario, where does Priyanka and Shahid Kapur's growing 'friendship'stand? A close friend of Priyanka and Hurman jumps to their defence, asking, "Would it mean that Priyanka is dating Shahid if they exchange friendly banter on a social networking website like Facebook? Well, Hurman did ask her about this and that's when they realised how deeply they care for each other."

Apparently, the reason for the break-up was Priyanka's two hits, Fashion and Dostana, and Hurman's two flops, Love Story 2050 and Victory. Their friend rubbishes such reasons and says, "People forget that Priyanka knew the Baweja family before Hurman took to acting. They're both working hard on getting back the magic in their relationship, especially Hurman."

When contacted about their patch-up, Priyanka didged a direct answer by saying, "I will always stand by Hurman."

She added, "I enjoyed Victory immensely. He came across very well as a cricketer."

Lucky connection with Harman and Genelia?

Hurman is starring in Sanjay’s first film as a producer called ITS MY LIFE along with Genelia Dsouza. A source close to Sanjay said, “Hurman’s debut venture Love Story2050 was released on the same day as Genelia’s Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.

And recently Victory and Luck By Chance hit the theatres on the same day too. And has fate would have it both Hurman films failed while Jaane and Luck became hits.But this time around Sanjay — who recieved much appreciation for his performance in LBC — is hoping that, Genelia’s luck rubs off on It’s My life.”

Cold vibes between Priyanka and Hurman?

Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra and Hurman Baweja (who were reportedly dating and have split now) left for Chicago to shoot some dance numbers for Ashutosh Gowariker's forthcoming What's Your Raashee?

Industry sources say that the shooting schedule was originally for around 12 days which meant that Hurman and Piggy Chops would have spent Valentine's Day together. But no, there's a twist to the tale. Priyanka is coming back in around eight or nine days and Hurman is coming back on February 14.

Looks like the former lovers don't want to be together on that day. Are they trying not to get emotional in front of each other as it would bring back some fond memories? An industry source says, "Priyanka and Hurman have been great friends; there were rumours about their romance too. But this sudden change definitely indicates that their relationship has gone sour. If everything was fine between them, they would have definitely been together for Valentine's."

When contacted, Hurman confirms, "Yes, I'm coming back on the 14th or 15th. I'm single and happy, and concentrating on my work right now. Nothing else is on my mind."

SL to roll out red carpet for ‘Victory’

This is one victory that Colombo will claim on Friday. Over Dubai, of course.

For the first time, the world premier of a Hindi movie, Victory, is being held in Colombo on Friday evening after the venue was changed from Dubai to Colombo.

The plush Regal theatre was chosen following the green signal to the India-Sri Lanka one-day series. It is also being seen as one of the biggest events in the entertainment industry here.

The movie, shot extensively in Sri Lanka, starring Harman Baweja, Amrita Rao, Anupam Kher, Gulshan Grover and 60 Indian and international cricketers, is about a boy from Rajasthan making it big in the world of cricket.

The Lankan ministries of sports, tourism and foreign affairs assisted the film crew during the shooting, which was done at grounds in Colombo and indoor stadiums in the suburbs.

The Indian team along with the Sri Lankan players will be part of the premier. Australian fast bowler Brett Lee and former team-mate Shane Warne are also expected as is actress Priyanka Chopra along with several stars.

“We thought Colombo would be the perfect venue for the premier because the Indian cricketers are here,” said a spokesperson of Event Concept, the event management company. “It is also a very important step in strengthening relations between the two countries,” he added.

Hindi movies are popular in Colombo and currently Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Ghajini are running to packed houses.

Priyanka attends the premiere of Victory

Priyanka Chopra is steadily gaining the reputation of being a thorough professional a fact that was proved by her attending ex-beau Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra premiere at Cinemax, Andheri last night with her parents. She made a promise and kept it.

Says a source close to Hurman, "Though Hurman and Priyanka broke off last year, they have have remained cordial to each other. They are co-stars in Ashutosh Gowariker's What's Your Raashee? and off the sets too, they have maintained their friendliness. Victory is a special film for Hurman (it is his second release) so he wanted Priyanka to be there during his important moments."

According to the source, the actor invited his ex personally for the premiere of Victory. "Hurman called up Priyanka when she was shooting in Jodhpur for an ad film and she promised to come. It was very gracious of Priyanka to accept the invitation especially as she was bit upset with Hurman when he went public with their break-up a couple of days ago."

The source adds, "The Victory premiere is intimate, with invites only going out to the cast and crew of the film and Hurman's directors and producers like Anees Bazmee, Sanjay Kapoor and Ashutosh Gowariker. For Hurman, Priyanka is not just a co-star today; they remain good friends.

She's always been there for him at most of his events and has been a source of support to him. Though she had promised to come, Hurman was keeping his fingers crossed as anything between weather problems to flight arrivals could prevent her from coming."

A source close to Priyanka says, "She was shooting in Jodhpur for an ad film but she had promised Hurman that she would attend his premiere, so she did. Priyanka always keeps her promises. She also has some other work commitments to fulfill today so Priyanka combined both the Victory premiere and her other work and flew back yesterday afternoon in order to make sure she didn't miss Hurman's big day."

Till recently the news was that Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja broke up because of his closeness to ‘Victory’ co-star Amrita Rao.

Good girl Amrita of course denied the rumors. She and Priyanka were even spotted bonding.

The latest is that she used to be good friends with Harman but now is pretty upset with him.

The petite dame thinks he’s hogging all the limelight during the pre-release promotional campaign of their movie. She also apparently got the shocking news that it was Harman who sneaked out details about their growing friendship to get more attention.

Well, we understand that Harman is desperate to make his next movie work after his ambitious futuristic film flopped. But why make Amrita suffer for the same?

But the girl also is not taking things lying down anymore.

She thinks he’s been doing a lot of manipulation and has conveyed her displeasure to the producers.

According to highly placed sources, Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja has finally split. The pair had differences in couple of issues in the past and they ultimately result in break-up and have decided to stay friends.

The couple even celebrated New Year bash individually. Priyanka chose to be in Manali with her family for the New Year, while Harman brought it in with friends.

According to India Times report, Priyanka and Harman both remained unavailable for comment.

Stories of differences between the Love Story 2050 couple, Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja, have been floating around for a while now. Now they did, now they didn't. But we have confirmed reports from our source that the couple has finally split. Says our source, "This time it's confirmed."

The couple has ended their three-year-old relationship. Our source close to the couple said, "There were problems between Priyanka and Harman earlier too but of late it had become very stressful to keep the relationship on an even keel. So much so that the two decided to call it off. However, both have decided to be friends and be cordial to each other at public events."

According to our source it was quite evident when the couple called off their plans to celebrate the New Year together. Priyanka chose to be in Manali with her family for the New Year, while Harman brought it in with friends.

A source from the sets of What's Your Rashee said, "Priyanka and Harman remain holed up in their vans between shots. The two come face and face only when they are called for the shot." The situation was not like this while shooting for Love Story 2050 when Priyanka would hang around on the sets with Harman even if she was not required for the shot. She was there to lend Harman moral support and vice-versa."

According to reports Priyanka, whose career is on an upward swing, felt that she needed to focus on her career. "Harman has yet to establish himself in the film industry, while Priyanka's career is going great guns. All this complicated matters and distanced them further," said our source.

The source added, "The two decided to split gracefully and continue to be friends so that there is no awkwardness between them. Also being professionals, they shoot for Ashutosh Gowariker's What's Your Rashee? leaving their differences at home."

It is Priyanka who decided to call the relationship off. Said our source, "Priyanka told Harman that they should remain good friends while they complete What's Your Rashee?"

We tried to contact Priyanka and Harman but both remained unavailable for comment. Priyanka's father Ashok Chopra put a complete different spin on the story when he said, "They were not together anyway." Like we don't know.

Harman Baweja and Amrita Rao in Love?

The big news doing the rounds is that Priyanka Chopra and boyfriend Harman Baweja have broken up.

But the bigger news is that Harman has got closer to his ‘Victory’ co-star Amrita Rao.

So much so that they find it very hard to spend time apart.

The inside info is that they got close while shooting and that’s why there’s a rift between Harman and Priyanka.

Harman and Priyanka are shooting for ‘What’s Your Rashee’.

According to close sources, Amrita drops in to meet Harman there too.

The source says, “Amrita drops in on the sets of ‘What’s Your Rashee’ and then both Harman and Amrita leave together to hang out at a café. Amrita and Harman get along very well. He might be on the sets with Priyanka, but he often chats endlessly on the phone with Amrita. That’s not all!.Harman has also been sending flowers to Amrita, when both of them are not together. Priyanka Chopra is aware of this blossoming camaraderie.”

Reportedly they go out together in the presence of Priyanka but strangely the desi girl is quiet about it. God alone knows what’s on earth she’s thinking. Maybe she wants to be over Harman soon too.

But as of now another big question is whether being with Hrithik clone Harman is good for good girl Amrita as well. We’ll have to wait and watch.

Ashutosh Govarikar impressed by Harman

New entrant Harman Baweja is all set to mark his debut in cricket! At least that’s what we feel after watching Victory’s promos. It is believed that Harman has worked hard on his role. He plays a cricketer hence spent a lot of time with cricketers to get into the skin of his character. Interestingly his current director Ashutosh Gowarikar is so impressed with his hard working and dedicated actor that he has decided to surprise his actor.

Ashutosh has just finished first schedule of What’s Your Rashee? And guess what he is so happy with the result that he has asked Nabeel Abbas to design his first look of What’s your Rashee?

According to a unit hand first look of this romantic comedy will not be same like any other film poster. Ashutosh and Nabeel have come up with the unique concept for the first look of the film. “It will be like a book cover that will not reveal much about the film at the same time will have a feel of the film.” informs a source.

Will Harman Baweja shine against Hrithik?

After a super dud of a debut like Love Story 2050, Harman Baweja is desperately looking forward to a victorious New Year. But as fate has it, he is once again being pitted against none other than Hrithik Roshan in Zoya Akthar’s Luck by Chance at the box office. Both the films are slated for a January 30 release.

It may be recalled that when Harman made his debut last year he was often compared to Hrithik Roshan and was called a look alike of Hrithik. Harman of course took it in his stride in a confident manner. Harman is keeping his fingers crossed hoping that Victory will emerge victorious at the box office this year. While his contemporaries like Ranbir have already gone ahead. Harman Baweja reportedly has got a big ‘V’ tattooed on his back when he had signed this film.

Interestingly both the films have been directed by debutant directors. Zoya Akhtar directs Luck By Chance while Ajit Pal directs Victory.

While Zoya Akhtar’s Luck By Chance has Hrithik playing a superstar in the film. The film has Farhan Akhtar in the lead who rocked last year with his Rock On performance. The film also stars Konkana Sen Sharma, Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia and Juhi Chawla. Ajit Pal’s Victory has Amrita Rao in the lead opposite Harman along with a host of cricketers from all the teams.

Also, perhaps little does Harman know that the film also stars his old nemesis Aamir Khan (in a special appearance) who last time thumped him down with his production Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na. The film also has Shah Rukh Khan in a two scene appearance.

Vistaar Religare invests over $1 million for 'Victory' publicity

New Delhi, Jan 2 (IANS) Harman Baweja's second film “Victory”, which also stars over 30 national and international cricketers has come into big money. Vistaar Religare Film Fund (VRFF) is investing Over $1 million in the movie's promotion.

Directed by Ajitpal Mangat, it has been jointly co-produced by Walk Water Media, a production house promoted by Manmohan Shetty.

“We are pleased to be associated with a strong financial powerhouse that aims to corporatise the film industry. This is a landmark deal as it is happening in India for the first time that a third party is putting in the money for print and advertising," said Shetty.

“The industry is in urgent need of entities that will recognise the depth of talent available in the country and work methodically to produce superlative cinema," he said.

"Victory", releasing Jan 30, is VRFF's first project. The film is a combination of cricket and cinema and narrates the story of a small town boy, who dreams of making it to the Indian cricket team. How he fulfils his dream forms the essence of the story.

VRFF is India's first film fund approved by Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI). It is a joint venture between Religare, an integrated financial services institution and Vistaar Entertainment that also produced critically acclaimed "Dharm".

“We are confident that 'Victory' will be a prudent investment decision for us and will provide fruitful returns to our investors,” said Sheetal Talwar, managing director, VRFF.
