Mumbai: Vaishali Bhaisane-Made won the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009, a reality singing contest.

This was the first public event that took place at the Gateway of India after the terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

The winners were selected through viewers` poll. Actor Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone gave away the trophy to the winner, first and second runner ups.

The second and third place went to Yashita Yashpal Sharma and Somen Nandi.

Made, who hails from Amravati in Vidarbha, Mahrashtra, has won a Rs 50-lakh music contract with Zee TV, a Hyundai i10 car and LCD TV.

She was a winner of the last season of Marathi Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Minissha slams surgery rumours

Amrita Arora going to do marriage with Shakeel Ladak

The buzz is that Bollywood gorgeous actress Amrita Arora has finally decided to get married with her new boyfriend Shakeel Ladak on March 6, 2009.

A source reveals, “The wedding date is March 6 and it will be a grand marriage. The mehendi ceremony will be on 4th march and the sangeet ceremony on March 5. Amrita Arora wanted that her marriage should be in a church, therefore marriage will be in a church on 6th March. However church is yet to be decided.”

He further added, “Amrita is preparing the list of marriage guests but her favorite star Shahrukh Khan will not attend the wedding function as he does not see Salman Khan eye to eye.”

Amrita’s elder sister Malaika Arora is extremely busy in marriage preparations and she has selected her suit for wedding. Amrita Arora has not finalized her suit and it is learnt that she has many friends who are designers but she is uncertain about whom she should give her consent to design marriage gown.

Hina Khan, the lead girl of Star Plus new show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was given a complete make over before coming on screen. According to our source, this Second year Delhi student not only underwent acting classes but even had thorough grooming lessons. It is speculated that she even had a teeth job done. Producer Rajan Sahi did not comment on the surgical intervention, but generally said, "Such intensive training is needed as Khan had not ever faced a camera before. It’s much tougher to work with new faces since a lot of time and effort is needed. But the net result is worth it as we get a raw face with which the public identifies with like Sara Khan as Ragani and Parul Chauhan as Sadhana."

Vijay’s ‘Sachin’ in Telugu

Sachin, the Tamil hit featuring Vijay, Genelia and Bollywood sex siren Bipasha Basu, has been dubbed into Telugu with the same title. Said to be a campus love story akin to Pawan Kalyan’s Khushi, the film has been directed by John. Bipasha Basu appears as a lecturer in the film. A Sampat Kumar is producing the film under Chakri Entertainments banner in Telugu.Sri Hari and Kotha Bangaru Lokam director Srikant Addala unveiled the audio of the film at a function at Prasad Labs in the city on Thursday evening. “Like Sachin’s batting Vijay appears in a powerful role in the film,’’ said C Rajesh who presents the film. The film has music scored by Devi Sri Prasad. Vanamali, Bhuvanachandra and Sahithi have penned the lyrics. Rajasekhar penned the dialogues.Rasi Movies Narasimha Rao, Sakthi Films Ramesh, producer Sampat Kumar and DSP Ravi were among those present on the occasion.
