Asin follows Katrina Kaif’s footsteps

January 10th, 2009

‘Ghajini’ is a big hit and now Asin, the southern star is looking forward to ‘London Dreams’.

‘London Dreams’ is about a rock band in England. Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan, play childhood friends in the movie who are rock musicians.

Asin’s chemistry with her co-star Salman Khan has also developed excellently.

The buzz is that Salman and Asin have gotten so close that it has made Katrina a little insecure.

So much so that she landed up on the sets of ‘London Dreams’ in Chandigarh.

Now Katrina played a musician ‘Yuvvraj’ and Asin is doing the same in ‘London Dreams’. While Katrina played the cello in ‘Yuvvraaj’, Asin will play the guitar in this film.

Ummm… seems the newbie is giving the wooden faced Kat a lot of competition.

Koel Purie says, ‘I enjoyed playing Farah’s stalker’

January 10th, 2009

Well, that’s quite a statement considering Koel Purie to be an individualistic and street smart person herself. Nonetheless, the talk-a-thon with celebrated Choreographer and Director Farah Khan made for an interesting watch! In a frank chat with Koel, Farah Khan spoke about her mantra for success - establishing herself as the only choreographer to be reckoned with in her twenties, producing triplets and super hits in her forties, teaching matka-jhatka moves to international biggies like Shakira.

One wonders how the busy lady who is known to go only on the shows of friends made it to Koel’s show. It wasn’t easy for Koel who accomplished this mission by stalking her endlessly, until she yielded. In the process Koel had to hold her stomach with bouts of hysterical and became a firm believer of the adage - better late than never.
