Identity Crunch

January 17th, 2009

The bouncers working in the different nightclubs in the United States need to be given a crash course in Bollywood films if these kinds of incidents should not happen again.

You know what? Two guys guarding a swanky night club in New York did not allow our beloved stars John Abraham and Katrina Kaif inside. What happened was that John and the flawless beauty went to the night club after a crewmember of the flick 'New York' invited them there to celebrate his birthday.

Kabir Khan, the director, Katrina and John went together and when they were about to enter the club, the guys stopped them. All explanations by the two stars regarding their status in India and they being famous film stars did not reach anywhere.

And what did the two stars receive back after trying to teach the bouncers their history?

Only a brief gaze followed by the need to see the Identity cards.

Now the problem was that the two actors and the director had their ID cards back in their hotel rooms. That fact did not deter the three who badly wanted to wash off their stress after a tiresome day. But by the time our victims reached back to the night club, the party had almost reached its finishing line.

May be once in a while these kinds of shock treatments are good to keep our over loved and hyped film stars to stay grounded.

What do you say?
