The star of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, the petite Anushka Sharma, will forever be indebted to her co-star Shah Rukh Khan. Anushka claims that it was only because of King Khan's efforts that she got a break in Bollywood.
Anushka had come from Bengaluru to make a mark for herself in Bollywood and met Aditya Chopra. However Aditya Chopra turned her down since she was barely an adult and too young to be pitted against any Bollywood star.
Anushka revealed that she busied herself with her modeling assignments until she received a call from Aditya Chopra. Anushka gave a screen test and the rest as they say is history.
Anushka later discovered that it was Shah Rukh who pressurized Yash and Aditya Chopra to cast her. She is glad that she got the opportunity to make her debut against Shah Rukh Khan, an honor most strugglers only dream about.
